We believe in a world filled with furniture made by passionate people, from quality materials and designed to tell a story. We call that feel good furniture (n): products made by real people for real life.
We've made a name for ourselves by creating custom pieces for our clients and tackling some wild ideas. Now, we’re honing in on something more personal to call our own, and sharing our unique perspective with the launch of our in-house line of handcrafted furniture.
We're Edgework Creative, and this is what passion looks like.
We aim to play an active part in creating a space for handcrafted furniture in the modern world. We want handcrafted furniture to be found in every home and the experience of space to be derived from the quality of what fills it — from the company we keep to the furniture we own.
We share our passion and give meaning to the world around us by doing what we do best; making quality furniture for real life. Our line begins with 10 initial products. These first pieces include two styles of seating options, multiple dining tables, and a small accent table. We are also excited to be launching a product that is tailor-made for cultivating shared spaces, the HIVE table.
This is just the beginning for us. We will always be a shop that does custom work, and with this new line we hope to make our handcrafted furniture more accessible to people everywhere.
"This line is the next step in our growth towards making handcrafted furniture accessible to more people." - Lindsay Remley, CEO
Our crew is the heartbeat of this business, and we turn to them for their experience and expertise. Adam Jax and Justin Brown are steering the trajectory of our furniture line, and prototyping is their love language (they make telepathy seem viable). With these products they want to turn the focus towards function, quality, simple materials and understated design.
Our modern modular product, the HIVE table, was born out of identifying a niche-use opportunity in Columbus' growing crop of flexible co-working and event spaces. Our Sales Manager and the brains behind the modular concept, Eric Killian, lead the design and prototyping process, and is passionate about the adaptability and versatile applications for the HIVE table. If you're interested in learning more, shoot him a note!
These pieces are inspired by finding beauty in things that are frequently overlooked, our relationship with everyday objects, and that certain and comfortable feeling you get when something just feels right.
