Explore Columbus #edgeworkinthewild

Edgework Creative is proud to call Columbus, Ohio home. We work, play, eat, and stay in this city for a reason — it's the heartland. Doing commercial projects allows us to work closely with Columbus-based businesses, organizations, and causes we care about that are right here in our backyard. We're serious about supporting local and we plan to leave our mark on Columbus, #edgeworkstyle.

When people ask, "what do you specialize in?", it's hard to name just one thing. We're custom experts, and that takes on a lot of different forms when we do commercial work in our community. Here's where you can spot some #edgeworkinthewild — some places might surprise you.

Break a Sweat

Maybe you've heard of these places, or maybe you've been lucky enough to break a sweat in them. We've worked with Give Yoga, Workshop Method and System of Strength to outfit their fitness studios. We're even partnering up with SOS on their new franchise expansion; we're makin' moves.

Food + Drink

Columbus is home to true foodies, and this being Test City USA... the restaurant and bar market is always hot. You can find and admire our handy work over a beverage at Parson's North, Veranico, Watershed Kitchen + Bar, Brekkie Shack and Atlas Tavern.

Get to Work

We spend 1/3 of our lives at work and there is an increasing number of research studies about the effects of our office environments. You can bet your bottom dollar that natural materials (like wood 😉) utilized in biophilic design have a positive influence on workplace happiness. We're excited about this workplace revolution, but we're a bit biased. Take a look inside a few of our favorite office projects including the new Pelotonia HQ at Gravity and RG Barry.

Take Some R+R

When we're not working, there's plenty to explore here in the #614, including the BrewDog DogHouse Hotel. Time Magazine recently named this craft beer hotel as one of the greatest places in 2019, and we worked with them to fabricate the furniture. We know, we know — major cool factor. Learn more about how the DogHouse Hotel project impacted our business here.

Retail Therapy

Columbus is home to some incredible shopping — our favorites are owned locally and you'll likely get to meet the shop owner as you browse. You can feel their passion for fashion and love for their spaces. Be sure to check out some of our favorites like Rowe Boutique, Jolie and Truluck to name a few.

Come Together

At the end of the day, Columbus is all about community. There truly is no other place like it, and we're glad to have a front-row seat to all of the great things taking shape. If you've heard anything about Franklinton recently, then you're probably familiar with the Gravity Project. We worked with them to outfit this flexible community space with custom modular tables. How's that for collaboration?  The VUE hosts events of all types and was an earlier adopter of our HIVE tables- they provide flexibility and make it easy to change the room over for the myriad of events they host.
