This home is a modern new build flooded with natural light. Perched high above the river, it is an oasis. It was a pleasure to be a part of the space, creating architectural details for 2 separate stair cases of the home. The first was a mono stringer staircase with oak treads and a clean metal railing and the second was a 3 story metal railing with some lovely curvy details. Check out both spaces below.
Mono stringer + treads + railing
This mono stringer stair system is just off the primary bedroom and home office wing of the home and leads to an upstairs home gym. Featuring white oak treads and a clean metal railing, it allows light to continue to pass through the space and is a beautiful architectural detail.
Climbing the stairs is part of the warm up to your workout!
3 floor metal railing
Spanning 3 floors of the home, this railing features soft details like continuous curve corners. Starting in the basement, moving through the main floor and ending in the upstairs bedroom hallway, it is a large railing system. Our favorite detail is the continuous curve railings at each landing.
The continuous curves help break up all of the linear lines.

We've built many of these stair systems over the years, it is a joy to help you complete your spaces. We recently shared this project that features a completely different railing style- check it out!
