Cozy Beds: let's stay in tonight!

There's nothing like climbing into a big, fluffy bed- it makes all of the hard work we do during the day worth it.  If you're looking to spruce up your sleepy-time sanctuary, we've got some inspiration for you. Netflix and chill never sounded so great.

HIGH DESIGN + HIGHLY COZY

This walnut stunner we built last summer is equal parts high design and calming. This king sized bed, headboard and nightstands are made from walnut and include a decorative and geometric headboard with seamless lighting and technology integration in the nightstands.  See inside this entire home on our blog.

COZY LAYERS 

While we are talking about cozy beds, let's not under estimate how important bedding is to this formula.  Our client, Carrie, shows us how to layer a bed like a boss. 

Q: How many pillows are too many pillows?

A: There are never enough pillows.

We customized this bed to accommodate Carrie's mattress cooling system and hose.  If you look closely at the third photo below you will notice we notched out an area in the platform for the mattress hose and electrical to run to an outlet in the wall.

BUNK BEDS

We built these custom walnut bunk beds 2 years ago and love their simple design and excellent use of space and utility.  A playful space that maximizes the number of people you can sleep and minimizes the space it requires. We are itching to build another set- get some inspiration here.
